Procedures have been qualified for a broad range of
both ferrous and non
ferrous materials, including carbon and low alloy
steels, martensitic,
duplex and 300 series stainless steels, nickel and
copper based alloys.
By combining our two core activities – cladding and
fabrication – we can
provide a complete package that offers customers
savings in both
production time and delivery costs. Typical
applications include
pressure vessel and pipeline equipment, subsea
piping and
wellhead equipment.
Arc Energy is heavily involved in the production of
storm and
waste water control equipment, which is welded and
assembled
from 300 series stainless steel.
The key fabrication and welding activities are
supplemented
in-house with heat treatment, rolling, pressbrake,
NC
plasma profiling, NDT and bead blast facilities.
The skilled workforce is supported by engineers
qualified
to degree and Masters levels in disciplines such as
metallurgy, welding, QA, design and project
management.
