Arc Energy is now an international contractor of weld overlay clad products and services, and provider of quality assured fabrications.

All work is carried out within a quality management system that has been approved to both ISO 9001:2008 and the stringent specialist welding demands of ISO 3834-2. As well as this, we hold ASME U and National Board R stamps, environmental standard ISO 14001:2004 and occupational health and safety 18001:2007 accreditations.

The company has expanded over recent years and now employs around 70 people in factory and office space totalling over 30,000 square feet.

Our expertise in weld overlay cladding services provides heavy-duty protection against corrosion and wear for process and pipeline equipment. Dedicated workstations enable Arc Energy to conform to the most stringent specifications imposed by the industry. We also have workstations that are specifically designed for pipe cladding that are equipped with the latest advanced control and inspection facilities.

We have the capacity to clad components up to 15 tonnes, and can clad bores up to four metres diameter and areas of restricted access within bores as small as 20mm diameter. Typical applications include pressure vessels, pipelines and pipeline equipment, subsea piping and wellhead equipment.

Our team of welders and fabricators are qualified to internationally recognised standards and specifications, including the ASME U & NBBI R stamp certificates of authorisation. A wide range of base metal/weld cladding combinations has been qualified to ASME IX, API 6A and NACE. In addition, we can offer in-house test weld, heat treatment, PMI and NDT facilities.
