Arc Energy Resources is committed to providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work. We have in place an Occupational Health and Safety Management System accredited to OHSAS 18001:2007.

We promote a positive Health and Safety culture with a view to reducing / eliminating workplace injuries and ill health, and fulfilling moral obligations to employees, their families and everyone else affected by our operations.

It is stressed to all that Arc Energy Resources take Health and Safety extremely seriously and that it is the responsibility of everybody to ensure a safe working environment. All staff and visitors are provided with appropriate PPE and training, and staff have regular consultation with our Occupational Health Nurse who visits twice a month

Job specific training is provided, as required, and to all staff in basic first aid skills, fire safety, manual handling procedures and skin awareness.

In 2011, Arc Energy Resources was placed in the top six of UK companies in the Manufacturing, Logistics and Transport category of the St John’s Ambulance First Aid in the Workplace Awards, alongside giants such as Heinz and Jaguar Land Rover.’
