Petrochemical
Arc Energy’s weld overlay cladding services are utilised extensively by the Petrochemical Industry where service conditions require corrosion resistant properties.
Weld overlay cladding provides the petrochemical industry with the assurance of a heavy-duty metallurgically-bonded protective layer that will not be undermined or dislodged in service. Welding can be overlaid to an application externally (i.e. flange face) or inlaid internally (i.e. through a pipe bore).
Our weld overlay cladding protects pipelines, flanges, valves and vessels against petrochemicals such as Benzene, Xylene, Synthesis Gas, Toluene, bauxite and sulphuric acid.
Arc Energy’s highly skilled welding engineering team, including two European Welding Engineers, will be able to advise on the ideal weld overlay combination for your purpose. Typical welding alloy materials in common use at Arc Energy include Inconel 625, Inconel 825, Monel, Hastelloy, Stelllite, Ultimet and stainless steels, amongst many others.
Through combining our core competences of weld overlay cladding and fabrication, we are able to deliver a fully integrated project management service, providing savings in both production time and costs.
